Growing up is hard
Now more than ever, our kids are experiencing a lot of overwhelm, peer pressure, and anxiety that comes with busy schedules, life changes, and growing up.
Our kids need a safe space to express themselves. They need a safe space to let go of all they are holding on to. They need a safe space where they can be in control of their thoughts, beliefs, and emotions.
The goal of ROOOAAARRR! Like A Dragon! is to introduce kids to social-emotional learning, teach them how to use journalling to express their feelings, and provide them with a safe space to release their anxiety, stress, and overwhelm.
When I was a kid, I always had a pen and paper in my hand. Or a book. Sometimes both.
I was always reading and writing. I used to carry around a journal with vibrant colors and a picture of Tweety Bird on the cover. I wrote songs, stories, and poems, mostly for myself but also for my friends and family. My mom would even have my poems published in the local newspaper.
At Wolf and Whimsy Kids, the methodology is simple: read & write.
Reading and journaling have been the things that helped me transform my life. They have helped me see massive energetic shifts and been my creative outlet when I was so full of ideas I was afraid I would forget about them.
They have been the things that have helped me share my magic with others. Now, I share my spark with kids as a reminder
